Hi everyone! I wanted to share my last couple knives with you guys- feedback is welcome! Two of them have stabilized maple handles and the other is some nice Hawaiian Koa. All of these are made from 15n20 steel and have blue G10 liners- the one with the reddish Koa handle was clay quenched- that knife is going to be auctioned off at the local NWTF Banquet.
The next ones I make like this Im probably going to do tapered tangs.

Those look great.
Leaps and bounds young lady, leaps and bounds:thumbup:

Beautiful knives, even better wood. The chatoyance on the last maple picture is out of this world.

I'm a woodworker, I live for stuff like this. 🙂

Thank you! Yea, I think a lot of knife makers are cool wood addicts;)

These look great. Your knives are REALLY improving (and they started out pretty good anyway). Excellent finish on those handles. Really love the maple one on the right in the second to last pic.

Very nice work.

Beautiful blades. I really appreciate your eye for form and how you carry out the spine/handle flow.

Thank you John! And thank you very much for all of your help- you have certainly been a large part in me learning and progressing as a knife maker!!

Great lines and proportions on these, Nic. Nice to see the hard work paying off.

Those are great Nic! I too am impressed by the finish on the wood handles. Good job. Not only do you keep improving but you are developing your own style. Those look like Nic knives to me. This is a good thing. On the sheaths we got to get ya an edger and maybe leave about a 1/10th of an inch border between your stitchline and the border stamp. A lot of folks will actually cut this border line with a swivel knife and bevel it and then hit it with a camo border tool. I don't as I feel the cut can leave to cracking on long hard use. But doing it certainly gives a very nice appearance. What is NWTF?

That is it! These knives are visually graceful.

Also glad you are using 15N20. I keep hearing it does great on it's own, instead of just being a layer in damascus.

Thank you Marc, I really appreciate it! Your advice and critiques have been very, very helpful in my learning process!
