Loosely designed after the Canadian Belt Knife, it is easy to carry, fits the hand nicely and the blade shape works well. This design is a little clumsy to take out of the scabbard but the addition of a lanyard solves that issue.
Stock removal from 1/8 inch 52100
Heat treated in my Evenheat kilt with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 creating a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with an 400 grit belt finish
Professionally stabilized and dyed curly maple handle
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 3 3/4 inches
Oiled leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

Wonderful take on a beloved classic pattern. Your wood choice perfectly compliments that design. 👍🏼

Thank you for the comments, guys.
