Amazing pictures Jeff, I knew you were good but crap, those pictures are truely amazing. Looks like a fun trip, wish I was there. Looks better than my week!

Jeff, great photography and it's awesome that you have such an invested interest in all that's going on in South America, and take the time to keep us informed. What roles do and RAT as a whole play in the drug wars? I understand that it may be sensitive in nature so I don't want to be pushy, I'm just curious.

Thank you for sharing. Looks to be a very specialised force you were with, that would have the knowledge, experience and intell to do and go, where they do. I guess as you said, trained for this type of stuff. Really the type of stuff the rest of us experience on Discovery channel ;-)

Have you ever seen a Super Tucano at work? I remember when they came out, a propeller driven attack aircraft with modern avionics and the capacity to use modern munitions makes perfect sense in the jungle environment. I've seen alot of awesome aircraft but I've always wanted to see a Super Tucano.

None. Zero. Zilch. We simply write the stories about what's going on. Not interested in getting involved in the politics.

I guess I should have read the thread more closely, I see you were covering it for SWAT magazine now. What an amazing experience.
