is the hole in the skinner for holding onto when you choke up on the blade?
you do some very nice work!
 
Yes, I profiled the knife and grabbed it where I would grab it to choke up on the blade. The hole is where the thumb and forefinger go.
 
I have worked with stainless in the past, but really like simple steels because it allows me to get a nice hamon.
 
Hey, just curious on the specs of that last one... I might be interested in buying it once you get a sheath done for it. Let me know!

I need to play the lottery more or get a second job. I want one of ea! I am a super fan of your work, just seem to be slowing getting to the punch of getting one lately.
