I pretty much used it as my guide with a few small changes. They have pics of easy to make rigs for compressing. I use one with 2 threaded steel rods and 2 steel plates. I want to try birch bark next!

I am a sucker for a Puuko - and making them for myself was more fun than I can explain. All your folks great comments pushed me - just put in for a knife makers membership. I think I will put a few up for sale once it kicks in.
