A Final Thank You All GAW/Winners Announced in post 131

Very sorry to hear. May God give you and your family strength. I know it took a lot of courage to make your decision.
I'd be honored to give any of the knives or the Lansky a good home.
God Bless you and yours.

Bob, I'm so sorry hear this, but I know at a certain point the treatments can be worse than the disease. Keep pushing on end enjoy the time with your family and friends, and know everyone here is hoping for the best for you. I'd be happy to take part in your giveaway.

Bob, you are the first person I friended on BF. I said it then and I'll say it again, I don't know what it means to friend someone on this forum but I know the character of the people I choose as friends. They are kind, courageous, generous, and strong and I thank you for being one of them. My wife and I have prayed and will continue to do so. I would consider it a honor and a privilege to carry a knife of yours. God bless you and yours, my friend, -James-

Not an entry. Bob, since I'm a new member to this forum I don't know you like many others here do. I've read many of your posts and have been fortunate to learn from you. Thank you for your wisdom and presence here. I am a knife knut like you, so I feel a kinship with you despite not knowing you. Much sympathy and love to you and your family. Y'all will be in my prayers.

Alex

Bob, I haven't had the chance to get to know you like some of the more longstanding members here, but I have gotten a lot out of your posts, and your courage. Stay strong and trust that He who created you, has your best interests in His heart. I would be honored to give any knife in this post a new home. I hope things go well for you and your family in this trial.

Not an entry, just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of affection we have for you here on the porch. You and yours are in our prayers, sir.

Bob,

Thanks for all the comraderie and knowledge that you have shared with the porch. In this digital world the knowledge that you have imparted will be around for the benefit of others for a very long time. I would be honored to own one of yours, and I'm in.

My best,

Rye

Bob, smoke and prayers up for you and your family. It's a tough decision you made and if it brings you some closure and allows the time you have to be better spent with friends and loved ones it's the right choice.

Know that your time here has impacted many lives and you have many friends here on the porch. We're all prayin' for you and your family my friend and we're here for you, even if all you need is someone's ear to bend. You know you can always find someone no matter the time of night or day to talk to.

A GAW is no fun if no one wants to play so I'm in, I would be proud to carry any knife you had in your collection. I would urge you guys to append your "Not an entry" posts and enter the GAW, Let's give Bob a GAW to remember.

Bob, still keepin' you and yours in my thoughts and prayers, blaze bright my friend, your flame will never be forgotten.

Bob, I'm very sad to hear that things haven't been going well with your treatment. I can understand your decision, and hope you confound the predictions. The Porch is enriched by your presence here, hope you know we all have our arms around you brother

I am in, Bob, though I do wish to thank you more for all that you have shared with the porch and taught us. I still remember our early conversations on barlows and my reluctance to accept such a pattern. I hope that you defy the odds and retain your seat on the porch as long as possible. Do not go gentle into that good night, my friend

Edited: change to I am in.

Bob,
I'm in on the G.A.W. and I'm also IN on praying for for You and Your Family.
Thank You for continuing to make the traditional forum the best place to be.

p.s.
I agree with Ted, to those that opted out of the G.A.W., change Your status to " I'm In "

Of course I'm in, Bob. Regardless of the number of knives I have, there are some that hold very special meaning to me. I'd find a way to pay it forward, either to you or someone else.

As others have said, don't give up! We're all pulling for you.

Glenn

Bob, you are in my prayers. Your good and helpful attitude on this forum is a shining light.

Bob,

I am really at a loss for words at the moment. I can only hope love and determination will see you and your family through many, many joyous days ahead!

I would love the chance to use any of the fine tools listed, I'm in.

Thoughts and prayers.

I'm in Bob. Sometimes there is joy in giving, and I think you need joy right now. I will be praying for you and your family. God bless you, Bob.

My short time on "The Porch" has shown me how wonderful people can be. You have shown that to everyone.
Quality of life is more important than quantity.
I am happy to be included in your give-a-way
Scott

Bob, you are the type of man to be admired - God bless you and yours partner - I'll keep praying for you. Bruce

I'm in. If you're doing a GAW, I'm proud to enter it.
If I win anything I'm afraid I'll use it and treasure it.
I hope you'll do a Jimmy Carter for us yet, but if you must be off, I'll try to be a better person to help offset our loss of you. (Wish me luck with that; you'd better stick around.)
And, let's face it, we'll all soon be where you're talking about going. See you then, if not sooner.
