A Final Thank You All GAW/Winners Announced in post 131

Not an entry.

Prayers for you, your family and especially your grandson.

Bob : You , and a few other guys around here , are one of the reasons why I got hooked with this forum !!! I always look forward to your Avatar picture . It just makes me chuckle to myself and when you were not able to post , I really missed it. I have enjoyed your postings of your knives and your knowledge . I have many more knives than I need that have been gifted to me by friends and family and none will ever be sold. If I am fortunate to win anything in your GAW , it will be passed on some day in another GAW. I only know you through these forums , but I wish that I knew you better . I have been , and will continue , praying for you and your family. I trust that we will continue to see you posting .

It is a big weight to get off the shoulders...best to you BigBiscuit on the quality time with family and friends.

Bob you have always been a great guy in this forum and I'm sure that decision wasn't a easy one for you to make. I can feel for your grandson because I was him a few years ago with my grandfather in a similar situation. Then I was delivered a letter he took the time to write to me not another grandchild just me and it changed my life forever the lessons he taught me no matter how hard or how kind all jelled together that day with the words he wrote he was a great man. With that said I'm sure your grandson hold you in the same regards I did mine so spend this time with him it means more to him then you'll ever know. You are in my thoughts and prayers stay strong and enjoy the time you have. That being said it would be a honor to own a knife from a guy like you I'm in.

Sorry to hear the news, Bob, but God only needs a moment to do a miracle. Continued prayer from our household.

I appreciate your recent help with the GEC ordering process, our forum discussions, and your contributions to the traditional community. I'm happy that you are surrounded by friends and family. You are in my prayers and thoughts.

Prayers for you and your family, Bob.

Your contribution here will be sorely missed, Bob. God bless and prayers for the family.

Thank you all for the very kind words. It's a great feeling to be among my family here on the porch. I intend on staying around on here as long and as often as I can. Trust me when I say, I'm not giving up. I'm just accepting the hand I was dealt and making the best of it. I've actually been making a video of my thoughts as I go through this instead of writing a letter to my grandson.
It is also my wish that if you win one of the humble prizes, please keep it or pass it along to another member. That is what would make me happy.
Thanks again to all my brothers and sisters of the porch. :D

Bob, it would be an honor to have something from you , so I will say I am in.
But the real honor for me is knowing people like you are out there in this world , being able to read yours words here and seeing how you are generous with your time and sharing knowledge, and the many acts of kindness. You keep up the good fight and you have my prayers you prevail.

You and yours are in my prayers tonight Bob. Thank you for the opportunity to get a Chance to own one of your knives. Im in

Bob, I haven't been on the porch for some time, but tonight I had to sign on brother. There are several on this forum that I find myself thinking about and saying a prayer for and you have been consistantly on that list. Know I will continue to do so for you and your family. It takes a lot of courage and character to make the choice you have made and I am sure all here would stand in agreement to the great man that you are. Not an entry my friend.

May the strength and spirit that flows ubiquitously in the Stream of Life flow effortlessly into and through you, Bob. I will continue with my prayers for you and your family. I admire your strength and look forward to your presence. This is not an entry as the gift is your continued Joy

Bob, we love ya brother..., sure I'm in, but I want you to know it will never be sold, IF it goes anywhere, it will be given to another forum member...
But rest assured you'll never be forgotten no matter what!
Take you some time alone with your grandson.., we are here if you need us, God bless y'all bud.

Bob my friend. I have enjoyed chatting to you on the phone- and want this to continue for some time.

I'm glad your Grandson has a cool stepdad - and your daughter has a good man by her side - this must be of great peace of mind knowing that your wonderful daughter and grandson have a solid rock of a man to be there and care for them and love them.
I wish I was closer to pop in and do Mir for Bob- unfortunately that just can't be, like we discussed on the phone- I envy your Grandson - GREATLY - because as a young lad I always wanted a neat Poppa or Grandad - I missed out on that- and I read a lot of the influence a Grandfather that has a close relationship with his Grandson - and how this stays with that grandson throughout his life and does nothing but install good Morals - even as grown men - often there's many referrals about that awesome grandad and how he showed him this - or taught him that.....That's a beautiful thing you have done to that boy Bob.
I hope you sit down with him and read some of this to that lucky young man - who has had something so so very special - something I never had.

I can't let the cat out of the bag - but there is something in the pipeline coming up here for you Bob from a couple of neat guys.

Stay posted everyone.

We will be in touch very soon Bob. You my friend are in my thoughts and - not that I do too much- in my prayers when I really need to reach out for help.

Not an entry. I have a beautiful HJ from you- you can't beat that one my friend.

Wow, Bob. May God grant you peace. I'll say "in" but I hope you have a lot longer than you think with your family. Prayers for your family and especially your grandson.
