I have always been in love with blades and when doing some random search I hit BF. I didn't even know that switchblade is illega here in city of LA. I did some search and find that in order to legally carry a knife, a concealed folder would be fine. long story short, I read some reviews about BM 806D2. I like the design of it, but it's discontinued!!! :(
I am searching for some alternatives that's very like 806D2.
I do have some requirements in thought, from most important to least important:
My budget is less than $150, :D
It must be a folder. ;)
It must NOT be switchblade/auto knife to be legally carried.
Although it's a manual knife, I wish it can be opened single-handed in a very fast way, not only it looks cool, it can be life-saving in case
I prefer combo edge :p
linear lock/lockback/axis, I hope it will be fun to play. :jerkit:
I wish it looks cool, too. no, not like the EVIL cool, but not like Buck 110 sheeple friendly either, something like MICROTECH-L.C.C. DA, cool look but not too scary, I hope you guys know what I mean

Is there such a thing?

You should just get the 806. It was only recently DC'd and if you look around on the web, you can find them pretty readily....

Well, the story goes that the BM 800 was originally inspired by Spyderco's Military. So, you could look there.

As I've yet to own one, I can't really say which would be superior. But I feel they are both good.

But, I would recommend you look around for a BM 800, 805, 806, and slightly smaller the 812, 814. The 805, 806 are axis locks, the rest liner locks.

You should take a look at the Spyderco line.
Nice options there, like the Black Blade Military, or the Police. If you'd like some tougher stuff, there's the Chinook II and the Manix.

Al Mar SERE 2000 is an option too.

Everyone is right. The Spyderco Military does have a similiar resemblence to the AFCK. The lock on the Military is no where near as good as the Original liner lock on the AFCK, but it is effective.

Not to be anal, but the AFCK was actually not inspired by the Military but by the Spyderco Police. If you hold them over each other, you will see how nearly identical the overall shape is. Of course the AFCK has the dramatic finger cutout.

I just did a search over Froogle, to my surprise, I can find AFCKs are still available! I was searching for "Benchmade 806" and almost got nothing, today I tried "Benchmade AFCK" and I got a lot of results!
These store are having BM 806 SD2, which is like exactly what I want.
anyone has experience from any of these sellers? which one should I buy the 806SD2 from?

but my links go low as $110... that store sells it for $140... :(
can I trust any stores in my those links to buy SD2 from them?

AG Russel has them as well. $130.

AG Russel and 1sks may charge more, but they are very respectable sites. The sites you listed are probably honest, but I haven't heard of any of them.

My bust HoB. I apologize for disseminating false information. You're correct. And its never wrong to correct an error.

tired + thinking = incorrect

I am glad you found what you are looking for--It takes a while for the DC'd regular productions to get of all those shelves...

in retrospect 1sks is what I would have ordered from knowing now that copsplus.com is taking forever to even give me an order receipt, let alone a tracking number... I can't recommend copsplus :thumbdn: whenever I don't order from newgraham i'm disappointed in some way.

The Spyderco Renegade looks similar in shape to the Benchmade 806.

Copsplus bad! They held $240 of my money for a month. Had to call my bank! They kept making excuses and ignoring me. Bastids!
