The sub-forum is the Good, the Bad,the Ugly. Guess that makes me Bad Ugly because AGR and the Acies is definately Good.
Been doing business with them for decades because of product and service (getting the catalogue in the mail doesn't hurt either). Seem to order a lot from the bathroom! I know TMI.
Agonized over the Acies for too long and finally ordered it. Wow, what a knife.
Been blessed, own a lot of nice knives - this one is in my pocket and I don't see it leaving. Now the quandry is all my orphans just sitting in their assigned places waiting their turn in the rotation. No rotation!
The company AGR - still tops IMO. Great people doing a hard job (ALL hobby companies are hard) they deal with fanatics and sometimes that's fun and most of the time - not.
A.G. said to me "You can't please all the people all of the time" and while that is true I would say they come damn close and if everybody is reasonable - even closer.
So, that's feedback. Great knife from a Great Company. Thank you AGR

A little late in responding to this thread - but the Acies keeps finding it's way into my pocket also.

I agree with your assessment and recommend it to anyone on the fence.
