• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

A.G. Russell's Sowbelly in single blade versions

Everytime A.G. Russell's knives come up I am so tempted to buy another. I was blown away by how nice my curved wharnie jack is, I pocket it quite a bit.

I may break down and buy something I shouldn't this month... :D

Just an update here. I am assuming this is allowed since it is not about the issue we were discussing before. I did indeed exchange emails with A.G. We were both reading each other wrong and we both apologized for any confusion. A.G. was a gentleman as I would have expected. So, we cleared the air and I felt good about it. As I have said, the knife I returned was very nice, it just had one minor flaw that a non knife freak would never notice in a million years. Slight line of epoxy between yellow scale and bolster.

Today, the doorbell rings and there is the postman. I'm not expecting any packages. Well, wouldn't you know, a brand new knife in cocobolo. Gorgeous. Fit and finish perfect. I am going to email A.G., and I debated writing this - I don't want anyone to take advantage, but that's not really anyone's style here - suffice to say, A.G. not only sells a heck of a nice knife, but he is a heck of a nice guy and a good businessman to boot.

Any chance you can post a picture, I love a good slip joint, very popular in the rural areas of TEXAS. Thinking of getting one for a friend as gift.

"Did a search found some pictures."
