I see gas-station sushi! I thought that stuff only existed down here in the South!

The place is called Nagoya , it's a legit sushi place. They have a guy preparing it at the sushi bar in front of you.

That definitely wasn't real sashimi. Like 91 said, it's just the fish without the rice. Goes good with some miso soup and some saki!

Most Wasabi served outside of Japan is just horseradish, mustard and green food coloring. REAL wasabi is desirable, but not available to most. Here's a knife and some real wasabi:

My wife got some real wasabi, we loved it! Damn that's quite the bowl of wasabi!!!

This is the togo container from Nagoya, I called it in and picked up, I just got out of work.

Sometimes you're just desperate and need to get your sushi at Jewel I frequent a lot of good sushi bars in Chicago though.
