  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

A game to play

Unless you don’t catch anything.
I got up one night at like 2:00 or 3:00 am when there was a full moon to go Musky fishing... nothing, you know what they say, fish of thousand casts!
Unfortunately we don’t have them down here in FL 😔
Yeah but a tarpon in the moonlight will do nicely.

Damn John, that's a beautiful fish. I love fishing, but hardly ever catch anything worth a picture lol
Thanks Chris. I put a lot of time (probably more than I should) chasing big fish....usually trout but Musky and smallmouth bass are a lot of fun too.

I love all kinds of fishing and fish. I'm not a purist or snob. But left to my own pursuits, I'll hunt a big fish with my fly rod over a bunch of small easy fish.

True, but your lucky, you also have the salt water species to go after, that would be so cool as an option to have.

I prefer fishing at night off grandpa's pier under 1000 watt halogen lights, Galveston bay (gulf of Mexico). We would catch 100+ speckled trout in 3 hours. He may be gone, but my aunt has his place now and whenever I'm down there we fish.

Up here, it was always walleye with my dad. I got burned out quickly. Drive 4 hours, set up campsite, fish for 6 hours in the cold, rarely catch more than 3 or 4. Sometimes nothing. I would much rather drive 40 minutes to the Chain O'Lakes, fish for whatever for a few hours, pop into Famous Freddie's for a burger (they have a marina) then head out home.

8" plus blade length or overall? Hmm my Becker BK-5 would qualify, but only interior brick is faux, it's tile that looks like Chicago brick.
