Knife and a fake eyeball
Grandpa died nearly 3 years ago, I believe he was buried with his glass eye.

Also:

Well, never mind. Apparently there is no clip online of "I even have my father's eyes" from Hot Shots!, at least in English or that I can get to post here.

The only northern fish I had any luck catching was pike. I'd catch tiny perch and walleye. But I'd get good sized pike ice fishing.

Had a guy tell me pike are garbage fish, that have to many bones. My wife fileted them just fine, boneless delicious filets that eat as good as any other fish.

Now I have caught big ass sucker fish and they have bones all through the meat. We tried smoking them, frying them, nothing worked. To many bones, you have to pick the meat from the bones by hand.

I camped at a spot on lake superior and it just so happened to be the time when the salmon were there, several campers were fishing there and said they return to that camp site every year for 30 years to catch the salmon, they caught big salmon and cooked one up that evening and shared it with us. YUM!

Lake trout are huge and delicious too.

Only know as a hobby cook: Pike is fantastic to eat ! And a Musky (spell?) is a Pike, too, I think.

Then again, I remember as a kid, our neighbor would eat a trout front to back, with zero leftovers :) ... like a cat.
