A game to play

That’s a valid snipe. You should call what’s next.

What is a snipe? Did not see explanation in rules?
If someone’s call is not posted in two hours and there is a new call, you can post the expired call and snipe or steel the call from the person who made the new call. It’s explained in rule 3 I believe. In this case ilovekittens snipped his own call. Pretty impressive if you ask me. 😎

Most dangerous snake I ever came into in the wild was on a rock climbing trip to Kentucky. Went up the hill to help out a buddy and stumbled upon a copperhead nest with the mother and a few babies in it.
That was an adrenaline rush. I have a photo somewhere, but as it was over a decade ago, I ain’t looking for it. Haha.

Also, we have massasauga rattlesnakes here.

Only venomous snake I was ever bitten by was a baby temple viper. I was moving one (with a mini hook made from a barbecue skewer) and one of the others looped its tail around as the first was lifted. Part way to their destination it let go...and, without thinking, I reached for it on the way down. Luckily, the venom was pretty mild. My finger felt like it was on fire for about 6 hours, and it hurt to touch for months after.
That didn't deter me from working with venomous, though. Fun times. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss that stuff.
Edited to add:
we have massasauga rattlesnakes here.
Dusky pygmy rattlesnakes (closely related to the massasauga) were the first venomous snake I ever bred. (The temple viper babies were a few years before - they were a surprise from an adult I purchased)
