hey guys and gals iam tired of useing moras so i want to upgrade my bushcraft knife so do you haveany recommendations for me

Stomper of JK knives. Breeden. DP. DJJ. Koyote. Mark of Charlie Ridge knives. All make EXCELLENT users in a variety of styles in your price range.

All of the above. Production: bark river (several models), rat-cutlery, fallkniven

Stomper Kephart, Bark River Northstar. They run a little bit higher, but you could get a Gossman PSK Sr or WTK.

Stomper has a pretty short wait, so does Scott, for his PSK and WTK designs.

Dan Koster but if you do not want to wait , Bark river Fox river , North star ,Auroa are good starters
Rat Cutlery RC3 or 4 model

$150? That leaves a LOT of options.

I'll only speak to that which I actually own. I like Koster and JK(Stomper on the boards). The catch is you will wait a bit for a Koster. You can probably get a JK much sooner.

Here's my JK Kephart:

I also like Ranger but I'm not sure how much Justin is making knives these days. Here's my Ranger shiv modified to be a bushcraft blade:

you definately have a lot of options in that price range... we also have quite a few very talented knife makers here on BF... most of them have been stated in the above posts...

Breeden knives are also great Bush craft. There are many and I have many different ones. I still use the Mora 90 percent of the time. They will hold their own against about anything up to 150.00. So easy to buy, so easy to replace if you need to and cut like a lazer.

Breeden, JK, Koyote and DPK are the customs that I have used. They are all great Makers and compare well to anything available in production knives and usually at a better price.

I have a Gossman, Breeden, Jk, and Koyote and would hate to chose a favorite. I know that all are great knives made by great guys. Each man can make what you want within your price. Maybe you should start a schedule and buy one of each.

Good choice. I have the JK Hiker. Mine is convexed with Black Micarta. Great all around knife IMO.

I like the Ka-Bar Impact Spear Point - D2 steel; reasonable price; no wait. Very sharp right out of the box, too. Tomar's has them.

Sure, I like my customs, but you wanted options, so there you go.
