Cute lil' fella ... orzittah her? Either way its a cutie. Reminds me of Norton, (named after Ed Norton of 'The Honeymooners' a pooch we had when I was young. The pooch Norton was about as nuts as the Norton on TV. Both were less nuts than Ralph.I had a fox run by on photo 2 just above the blade tip
That made for a cool picI’m in!
Not sure if it’s visible but I had a fox run by on photo 2 just above the blade tip and I couldn’t focus the phone on it fast enough.
Thank youI'm in! I've seen a number of posts with Merle in this thread, so I'll start with a couple that I took when I hosted him. Open water in Alaska in February because it's a hot springs:

And here's a photo that I just stepped outside to take so that my entry contains an actual knife that I own:

This is a "water feature" that I wish I didn't have, a large pool of melting snow right next to my house. It's gotten so big this year that I've been pumping it further into the woods and away from the house. It's either that or start building an ark. The knife is an AW&S lambsfoot, the basic model in rosewood. I love the blade shape but the knife has a number of fit/finish issues, so I would welcome the opportunity to try the Hartshead.
Here's one more shot of the yard from a moment ago:

Considering that it's May already we sure have an awful lot of snow still on the ground that needs to become water before we can have summer. But, it's 10pm and the sun hasn't set yet, so we're winning
Thank you for running this great GAWJack Black and congrats on 50K!
....The draw will be on Tuesday, after I sober up!![]()

Thank you good sir, I hope you're like the Lambsfoot patternThank you for this generous offer, Jack, and for all you do for this great forum. As a recent beneficiary of a nice JB SFO, I'll stay out of the running on this one, though it is a stunner. Cheers!
Cool knife and picI’m in.
My most aquatic-themed knife and the big bridge and river behind my building.View attachment 1808095
Where I live in England the sea is about 100 miles away in most directions, pretty central and we have the Thames/Isis as well as a canal.I've just been going through this thread, and jotting down all the entriesI'm pleased so many folks have entered, but thanks also to those who, while not entering, still came here with kind words, and some great pics
The standard of photography is really high on The Porch these days I think, and that shows here. Thank you for all your efforts, particularly those of you who don't live too close to a river or lake, I never really considered that
It's just after 4.30pm here now, and I'll let this run for another couple of hours, and then draw it at 7.00pm Yorkshire time
Good luck everyone, and thanks once again for all your kind words
Jack
