A Junior collector, Sarah Martin

Honor roll, knife collector, hunter...perhaps a future President? ;)

Your daughter has great taste in knives, David. She clearly had a good teacher.

Thanks Ima and A.P.F. for your kind comments . A.P.F., last year when she went out for golf, after a week or two of pratice the coach ask her . Have you had any previous experience in golf ? No, she answered . Did your parents play golf . No, she answered . Well, do you have any clubs ? Yes, my uncle gave me a set of his old ones . Well, if there is no influence in this area from your family then why did you go out for golf ? She looked him right in the eye and said, I'm trying to elevate the status of my Hick family !
So, I'm not sure if I'm a good father yet . DM ;)

This is our own David Martin's lovely daughter Sarah with her collection of Folding Alpha Hunters. Sarah has written a couple of articles for the BCCI newsletter.

ITE, She also likes the Alpha Dorado and I got her the club offering one with routed buffalo horn slabs for making the honor roll for four years straight . DM

I was thinking about why she didnt post and then remembered the 18 law. I assume she is getting groomed as a 440c fan but is resisting to go her own way:)

Imafritz, I'm the shipmate calling out warnings at the bow but she's holding the wheel at the helm . She likes several of Buck's steels and the way they cut . I'm not sure she has a favorite but if I pressed her, she'd state ATS-34 . She's cut enough things to make up her mind . DM

Nice collection! I'm jealous...

My 279 is my beater and a great knife. I at one point lost everything I had and the first thing I needed (obviously) was a knife, showed up at a Canadian Tire and picked a 279 with rubber scales. Was my onlu knife (including kitchen/food prep) for a long time before I got back on my feat.

When does a 19 year old young woman with a fine collection of Buck knives lose the title of JUNIOR collector and become just a Buck collector like the rest of us?

Telechronos:):):)
