A Junior collector, Sarah Martin

When does a 19 year old young woman with a fine collection of Buck knives lose the title of JUNIOR collector and become just a Buck collector like the rest of us?

Maybe when she becomes 19, she just had her 16th birthday. ;)

Oops, my error on the age.:o Still believe that a person with knowledge and a fine carefully selected collection is a collector not some hyphenated category. I admire anyone who takes the time and effort to gain knowledge and apply that knowledge to developing a collection of knives.

Thanks Tele . I think taking her to Buck's 20yr. reunion had an affect on her as thats when she got noticeably more serious and focused on her selected model . Plus, she's attended several knife shows with me and seen tables laden with knives which expressed no connection . She's watched the DVD's from the 20yr. as well which may have helped some . So, she's expressing a reasoned approach . Rather than the guy who buys 'what ever strikes my fancy' and then trys to come up with a meaningful display out of it . Which is ok as long as one has no desire to display . DM :)
