A knife that has travelled around the world.

Mr. Hudson, what an amazing story. First of all, what you and the team did, was "above and beyond" as the saying goes; I'm am not an american or a military person, but this goes beyond the boundaries of nationalities or countries. To go through all you went through shows the kind of human being you (and Mr. Volkert, and all the others) are. I can only admire and respect you. That swiss knife has become a very valuable heirloom and I can only hope that the children of yours that receives it, knows the significance of it.
 
Mr. Hudson - first, as others have already said, THANK YOU for your service. The world needs more people like you ( and Kurt and the others). That knife should be passed down when you are finished with it, but the stories should not be lost. Might suggest printing off the info you put in this thread, photos, etc to keep with the knife. Thank you!
