My little box of goodness arrived today as well. WoooHooo. I like everything in it. The 3 FPR Signature Series i had from before. The new ones are the FFG BK17 for my daughter & the FFG BK16 for me, the KaBar BK11/14 clip & the Ka-Bar PiggyBack JAB necker knife. Enjoy.

Thanks. I still gotta get me a reg prod run BK15. Actually, i'd like to get a set of 8 BK15s for steak knives. How cool would that be !!! I should have another box of goodness by the end of the week. Not a Becker though. Close, a Boker Plus Elegance.
 
That is a heck of a box of goodies. Thanks for the close ups. I thought all the tweeners were gong to be FFG? I see that the 17 isn't. Now I want to order one! Have a blast with them.
 
Only the BK16 is different. FPR has sabre grind & Reg prod run has ffg. Coatings & lazer etch are different on the reg prod run.
 
I'll give you my o so sweet custom beckers for those dirty bits of steel :barf:, trust me, you dont wanna keep them :D.
 
I'm sorry sir, but it is illegal in the entire world for anyone aside from myself to own that many BK&T tweeners, you will be required to mail them to me straight away or risk 20 years imprisonment in the Becker Asylum and Institute where you will be subjected to tortures unimaginable. That's right, you will not be allowed to even see a BK&T knife for the next 20 years, cruel and very unusual I know, but still quite effective.

For the first time in my life, i decided to get a set of 3 FPR & safe queen them. Thinking that maybe, hopefully, someday, i may be able to get Uncle E & the Toooj to sign the boxes. I want to make a special display case for them. I then plan to give them to my daughter, as a gift, when i am old/er & gray/er as a keepsake. My daughter shares the same love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, duty-honor-country & bad ass blades that will take a beatin, as i do. My hopes are that when i am gone, when she gazes at them, she will have fond memories of the things we shared & maybe inspire her to do the same with her kids or someone else. Mushy, i know, but thats the reason.
 
OMG u scared me! I read ''FFG 17'' and flipped out! Thankfully ur pic clearly shows that sabre ground goodness!!!

I dont like the new coating...looks like gravel. I will strip it anyways...but now I have an even better reason to.

Wow man. That is the best answer to "Honey, why did you buy five knives?" ever, it would almost work on my girlfriend... If we had kids lol.

But honestly, that's an awesome idea and in sure you'll be able to get Uncle E and Tooj to sign em.
 
5 knives ? I gots me a LOT more than 5. More like 45-55, plus hawks & axes & hatchet & machetes. I gots 2 more on the way. Fri prob, but not Beckers. Boker Plus Elegance & a Rem big pocket knife. That Boker is 7mm thick, which is 9/64 or slightly more than 1/4".
 
That is a big box of happiness, Twinstick. Those tweeners are looking good. I can not wait for my 17 to show up.
