The thermometer in my backyard told me the same thing.:grumpy:

Toss a cup of boiling water outside...not a drop will hit the ground and you will have an instant little cloud. Has to be under -5 for it to work.

6:50 am.....and a balmy 26F here on the west side of Great Falls, Montana! Just about time for me to break out the flip-flops and shorts! :)

Guess that storm missed us....at least this time. The last three weeks of December our high temps were below zero......today is suppose to get to 42F! I'll have to shut down the forging shop if it stays that hot! :D

I will try that tomorrow morning, it will be cold enough and the kids will think its cool.:D

It's a nippy 58F at 9:00 am here, with a forecast high of 73F...I'm so glad I moved away from Indiana right now (but my answer might change if asked again in August.)

-35 this morning. Went cross country skiing at -25 yesterday afternoon, came home beard, eyebrows and lashes all frosted up, but the cool air is refreshing. Would have gone farther, but those thin ski boots lead to frozen feet quickly if one doesn't pay attention. I wonder how well those electric socks would work?

V6 I am a bit more than an hour East of you and things were a bit slugish on my Blazer this morning when I went to work.

We have an engineer that works here and he is from Montana. He says that -19 in Iowa is much colder than -19 in Montana. It must be the humidity.

Just think 100 degree August is just around the corner :)

There is no way I would live in an area with temp as cold as you guys are saying. To me that is just nuts. Man it has just barely got below freezing here a few times and I am already wanting to move further south. Me and cold just do not get along at all.

I guess we're not so special after all. -23 this morning, "up" to -10 now. The car sure didn't want to start. :)

I'm going to try the boiling water trick too! Sounds like fun.

It's so cold here...
I saw a dog stuck to a fire hydrant...
I sneezed and ended up with a foot-long green icicle hanging off my snoot...
My mother-in-law's kiss seems warm by comparison... (just kidding I'm not married)
It took all morning to clear the driveway and then the darn truck wouldn't start anyhow...
My girlfriend hasn't let me touch her in 3 weeks cuz "your hands are so cooolllld"...
But like Milt said, there's no bugs!

-3 here the dumb dog didn't make it off the porch to do her buisness this morning. It's going to be fun at work today lots of snow to move and subzero temps. Guys will be hiding tring to stay warm Not much will get done.

Todd

Okay, I tried the boiling water trick. That was cool! Poof! Our dog looked at me like I'm an idiot though.
