A little of Dad with me in the shop!

My mom (almost 85), told me not long ago that she sure wished my dad could see some of my knives. "He would be so proud of you", she said. I told her that without the upbringing and guidance of Daddy, I probably wouldn't even be making knifes.

He was a special individual indeed. I thank the good Lord for the time I had with him, and I know I will see him again.

Thanks for sharing. For everyone who still has a father on this earth.......... Don't let a day pass without telling him how much you love him and appreciate what he has done for you. Even if he may not seem to understand what you are saying......... You both will understand some day.

Robert

Just a little update to let you know that Dad is not doing well and will probably be with His Savior shortly. Your prayers that he is as comfortable as possible through this would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your prayers guys!

Just to let you know that my Dad, Michel Lemée, passed away this morning around 11:00. After more than 13 years, he decided that spending Valentine's Day with my Mon was long overdue. Love you Dad!

Sorry for your loss Patrice! He is now Running and jumping hand in hand with his sweetheart... Chin up

I'm sorry for your loss, Patrice. I lost my dad 19 years ago, but once in a while, we meet in my dreams. I'm sure you will see your dad from time to time. I bet he is proud of you.

As was said before remember to take care of yourself. my father in law took care of his wife for 5 years as she spirled down with Altzhiemers, refused to haave anywhere but home. we lost him to a heart attack 29 days after she died. Prayers for your family. Steven

Patrice, i am sorry for your loss. I have been away from the forums for a while, so i apologize for my tardiness on this. If i can help in any way, please contact me. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Thinking about you my friend. Keep the faith, for we shall all meet again some glorious day. What a day that will be.

My prayers go out for your strength, Patrice. Your father is enjoying the rewards of a good life now.

My old man pisses me off more than any other person in the world. He comes to my shop and makes a mess, breaks half the stuff he touches and complains about my mess! My wife wonders why I don't light him up, but its for your very reason. I know there's gonna be a day when my old man isnt gonna be around. I keep my mouth shut and understand that someday these are gonna be good memories. God bless you. And your old man! I pray for you both!

Patrice,

My condolences....I'm sorry for your loss, but I like the way you phrased he's with your mom that alone is a memory of a lifetime..

take care,

Rob
