a little overnight Pic heavy

I am using a North face (cats meow) sleeping bad rated to 20f although after 8 years of service it feels more like a 35 f (lol) also a mil surplus wool blanket.. temps at night hovered around 30-34 f
Mine is older, and some raving optimist originally rated it for 15 degrees.
I've had it out below 10 on a 3/4 Thermarest and wearing polypros, 2pr of socks, a balaclava, and with a fleece vest covering the hood opening. Probably only slept after shivering hard enough to knock myself unconscious on the rock overhang I was under.
I love that bag, though. Down to about 25 degrees, anyway. After that you need a tent and a candle.
