A Man's Knives!

Other than missing the joy of the birth of that fine wee lad, an entirely uplifting story, Charlie! And be assured he’s watching from above.

My own Scotland born grandson, who turns 2 in March also likes to grab a handful of beard as well. The chest hair hurts the worst, though.

Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful baby Charlie! (Despite what folks say, they aren’t all so...photogenic??:)) Congratulations and enjoy! Dad does have a bit of a beard indeed. Hee hee.:D
Thanks, Neal

John, you got me thinking! If I saved all the knives I have EDC'ed over the last 25 years or so, that might make a more interesting legacy!!?? Hmmm. . . . . . .

Huh? What about the other grandchildren?

Congratulations on the new addition and my condolences for your loss. Life has a way of keeping its own set of books, its own checks and balances.

That really is too bad Charlie. But as you said, to each his own.

As to making Duncan's legacy the knives you've carried in the past, I think that is an excellent idea. A Bose WT, Old Boiley, and perhaps an HJ or two. Either way, that boy is going to have an enviable bunch of knives.

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words, and also for the congratulations!!!!
Life balances things out - we come and we go. The main thing is to be in the moment and have no regrets. Our errors are lessons, and our blessings are to be cherished - like the great people here on the porch!!!:)
I better get a knife picture in here!! Here's one my Nonno brought with him from Sicily, at the turn of the last century!
With a Case Barlow for size. That Sicilian knife is my most valuable knife - to me of course!!

Condolences Charlie, great that will be there for the little one, family history is so important and we sometimes forget that.

All the best my friend!
