I did not know that anybody needed to move to justify a new knife. Strange reason that.

Oddly enough, Bowie knives are illegal in Texas. No fixed blade over 5.5 inches.
Whatever you choose, welcome to the Lone Star State!
Carl..... maybe it's time to just start collecting knives again and quit this "few knives" philosophy?![]()
Case's Small Texas Jack in Amber Bone CV is a nice knife. However, with the squared bolsters it's less pocket friendly than the rounded bolster Peanut.
I have heard that the Trapper is king in Texas. Maybe a Case mini or a Moore Maker 3 7/8.
Wow! Welcome to Texas! I've carry pretty much one of these:
#85 Bullet Jack

#76 Outlaw Jack (fitting name) With peanut, for your consideration

Having said that, one of our forum members had an SFO done of the #66 Jack in "Yellow Rose of Texas". Had one but unfortunately sold it....wish i had it back. I believe he still may have the slim version left

On a more serious not, and on topic; I think a case Texas jack would be a great choice
