A new Sword - sheath pics added post#40

I believe these pics are going to have to be saved to my hard drive. When I have the free funds for a grail-sword, I'm coming back to you and asking for this beauty's sister.

Just amazing... it strikes a chord like no other I've seen.

That sure is a beauty!

I have a bunch of vinegroon, and just dyed some leather for a pocket holster for some one else. My problem is the smell.

Did you notice the vinegar/steel mix (basically vinegroon) imparted a metallic smell to the wood?

I have several oak/hickory handles I am going to age, and your results look fantastic!

Thanks.

I didn't notice much of a smell at all either before or after. My wife calls me "metal man" because I have the smell of steel on me most of the time so maybe I just don't notice. :p

So to my surprise I picked this sword up last night, it's breathtaking in person. The attention to detail, precision, and beauty of this work of art left me speechless when I unsheathed it for the first time. Thank you Stuart, it's much more than I could have imagined.

It cuts too! Forgive my atrocious technique as I'm brand new to the sword world.

Oh sure--rub it in. :D

Apparently, the target was unable to detect any deficiency in your technique.

Nice cutter!

Cool video Codey. Thanks for posting that and I'm so glad you like the sword. Thanks to Camille too.

Cool video and an awesome sword! I like your kiddo in the background saying "Daddy I need to go through!"
That cracked me up!!:D
