Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
That is Blue dymonwood scales. The original project (that never was done) called for a 346 blade.
You all have a 0345GYSWM-B, 345 with Charcoal Dymondwood, oiled.
My box was smashed and had the label tore off of it.
The handles also look like they missed the last finishing step of polyurethane or whatever coating Buck usually uses to seal the handles.
No issue for me at the price that I got it though. Great user for the price!
Yup....got my two today also...same supplier....same thing....paper envelope with two fairly crushed boxes and stickers peeled off in it....still not sure why they had to remove everyone's box stickers. Oh well....good price.
If/when I decide to carry mine I'll probably put a little mineral oil on the handles. However, it's a small think, think that they may actually handle better in the hand the way they came.
Mine has a dark camo look to it that I like. Again, great deal for the price! I made an offer on the first round and he took it some I'm thrilled.
Anyone know of others like this out there?
This version is for a major retailer, and will not be a limited run.

Ah, thought we got ourselves some raritiesOh well, sweet knives.
ohen,
I thought about putting some Hoppes gun oil on it which I treat my gun stock every time I clean them. I also have put it on all my old ebony 110's and it has brought dry looking scales back to new. I, however am a little hesitant to put anything on this one for some reason. I expect at some point I will overcome it...probably when I get a 2nd for test purposes.
Thanks for guinea pigging Plum-how does it feel after and oiling? bout the same or slicker/smoother?
And so by this we can take it to leave it as is?
