A New York Special WIP **VIDEO ADDED**

Thank you TK

It's perfect :)

I love the wasp like tapered tang

A true gentleman defensive piece masterfully done

I find it crazy how in the world of knives there is nothing new

As TK has shown in his wonderful rendition of the Loveless NY Special

There is a sea of new small defensive oriented blades hitting the market by very solid operators and it's funny how their designs harken back to the Loveless NY Special.

For example

The Blood Shark by Tracker Dan

The defensive piece as mentioned in my above video by Dom Raso and Winkler

Admittedly not nearly as refined as the NY Special but the heritage is clear

Loveless was very ahead of his time and thank god we have craftsman like TK that can pull of these designs like true master craftsman

This will make an outstanding carry piece

Thank you TK

Well the NYS landed today and I'm very pleased with the quality of this setup

I say setup because a carry package is only as good as its sheath

Full video review coming up

I'll be edcing this rig and it's a perfect match :)

Here is a little video on this great LOVELESS NYS rendition

That was wonderful. Very informative, convincing, explanatory, and very engaging.

I don't usually stick around for vids longer than 2 mins. I listened to all 11 mins of this thriller! ;)

Thx for the kind words buddy

I know I'm long winded but I can't help it ...... I have a big mouth

I really do make my videos for a niche group

Whether I'm making a video speaking about a bow or a knife it has to be something I like and believe in........ than I can't help but try to really explain it and the logic and reason why I like it. The average person will not sit through it all but the person that is truly interested will ..... that is my target audience

I've been looking for a white micarta handled NYS for awhile and I'm very pleased with the total package that TK has done

This has been one of the coolest BF threads that I have ever read. This is a superb rendition of a Loveless classic. Congrats Joe! Kudos TK!

Really appreciate that Ben - I have great respect for your work.:thumbup:

Working with Joe was a pleasure - we have a lot in common as far as interests go. The video was very well done Joe - my favorite parts of it were looking at your wonderful trophies and the whip at the end. :D
