My getaway spot. It`s a 40' evergreen in the far back corner of my yard that I sit under when I need some quiet. I love it there when it`s raining or I`ve been known to take my firepit there in the middle of winter.

Here`s mine for today, not outdoorsy, but has a special meaning for me. Everyday on our 3 mile walk we walk past it. It`s one of the few remaining old buildings in town, built in 1912. It`s currently the Emergency Services building, but when it was built it was the police station and jail. It`s special to me because in the late 1950`s and early 1960`s my grandfather was police chief in town, and he used to take me there. The front has been redone, but the sides and back are original.

Here is mine for today. This is by the pond that is the half way point on our walks.

Found this on the trail today . Two dead rodents. Look to big to be baby mice. Think they maybe baby squirrels. Perhaps killed by a buck.

We had our second snow last night and this morning. Haha. It dropped some on Thursday too!
