A Prototype Kwaiken From Jason Knight(These ARE Shipping)

Phil Hartsfield was the first custom maker I ever met, and I have loved those kwaiken-style knives since I first saw them.

This knife of Jason's has that "Go ahead, I dare you!" look that his knives always have, and everyone who is lucky to end up with one will have a new favorite, I'm sure.
 
I'm a huge fan of the Japanese cord wrapped knife, and this is one of the coolest examples I've ever seen. The forge scale is amazing looking on this.

Paul the horrible truth is my parents sent me to private school a large part of my life . By the time I was in 8th grade I had 4 years of French and 2 years of Latin.


I'm just always wide open and don't really pay attention to well :D



At this time 9 out of the 10 slots of this run are filled and Jason is shooting for an around X mas delivery of this first run :thumbup:

If I may ask, why 1050 steel? Why not 1084 or something a bit higher in carbon?

Sorry Banbo it's the first proto was 1095. they are going to either be that again or w 2

I think if I m not missing anybody there are 3 slots left I am still waiting on a definate on two of them

I got it!I must pass on this round.... I await the fighter you two men will be making.
 
I think we have hit the ten mark There is one person that has not gotten back to me yet so if there is any more interest shoot me a line and if anyone drops out or the last one does not commit you can have there slot.
