A Prototype Kwaiken From Jason Knight(These ARE Shipping)

Hey Joe,

what was the stock thickness on these? And I hope you're going to try to convince Jason to make his/your take on a lower point Southern style fighter Bowie ;) I'll start saving up now if you can make it happen :D Thanks, Mac

they all should be right around 1/4 inch

I would love to do a Fighting Bowie with Jason . We shall see:D

Here is the proto finished sheath for mine the template and knife with sheath will go back to Jason so his leather guy can get working on the sheaths.

This one is shark the ones Jasons leather guy will be doing will be black leather.

These are made to be worn horizontal on small of back If any of you want standard vertical sheaths speak now or forever hold your piece :D

I want to thank Joe for putting this deal together. I was lucky to get the last of the 10. I think I called Joe within a few hours of this thread starting. This is my first knife from Jason even though I have known him since high school. It is bad to the bone. The balance is unbelievable. The sheath is even better than I expected. Southpaw Leatherworks is out of summerville sc and has a FB page. Hope the mail runs fast for you other lucky guys. This was a deal!!!

I got mine today and I am stoked. Simply awesome. Heading to maryland for a duck. Hunt will posy pics as soon as I get back. I believe all of these have shipped

Delivery to me is always a bit slow, I'm going to try to be patient.:D Congratulations to those that have gotten theirs.

Well i just got time to take some quick shots of this knife.

Where a Kwaiken shines is as a light not bulky utility/ self defense knife They cut very aggressively and the tips if done right are very sturdy and penetrate extremely well.

I have been carrying a kwaiken for over 20 years

Here is my Knight Kwaiken with a Paul Long sheath. This was the first one made I believe after Jason made the proto type. Ten where made all very close but slightly different

Please keep me posted all of you that ordered should have your blades now or very soon

Here the knife is pictured with what I would call a light weight carry set up

S & W Scandium / Titanium .357 Mag Dump pouch and Knight Kwaiken set up for small of back carry. This sheath can also be worn crossdraw edge up

Great looking carry set-up Joe... Looks like yours was a hollow w/ flat ground tip.
Are the rest just flat ground? Either way, looks like Jason did a nice job on those.
