a quick overnighter

I didnt know they had em there! I bought mine at a local place called The Alpine Shop. It was on clearance at the end of season last year. Its a great bivy, I really like it. I replaced the original stuff sack with a Xtra small silcordura stuff sack, and it fits nicely(minus poles) Makes it very light and compact.....

Thanks guys.... Ive been away from posting lately, kinda missed my WSS brethren.

J,
Looks like a good time. I just got done reading that very book. I loved it.
Do they have an Alpine shop in Sadellia or did you go to the one in Columbia?

It says SIX POUNDS!

But-

My friend has one and unless the camo is WAY heavier than the regular my friends weighs something like 2 lbs 6 oz or something.

I think it's a typo.

The only thing you have to watch for is even though it's a double wall tent due to the small size if you get a lot of rain or cold weather you will get some condensation.

I agree on the typo. I've got the sg model and it weighed in right at three pounds.

Well, I certainly hope it's not 6 lbs. I think my 2 man tent by Sierra Designs weighs just under 4 lbs. Maybe I should just stick with what I got.

Cool pics! It's that time of year again when i like to spend the night outside, I can't wait to follow suit and sleep under the stars again. Thanks for sharing the pics.
