Try MacheteSpecialist.com They're the only place in the US that sells them right now. :)

Go for it! If you don't like it you can always take it off. :p I have a Nicholson/Collins machete that I mirror polished (by hand :eek:) and another one that I only sharpened and left with the rough stock finish. I'm planning on coating the one I left stock and I'll work out some way to do an unbiased test of the two for comparison. Might take me a little while to figure out how to get consistent scientifically viable results, but stay tuned. :D
