A REAL HOG thread :D....WHEELGUNS and Busse's.

What I really want it a Freedom Arms .454 or one of the new S&W .460s.

What I like about the two I mentioned is that they will take 45 long colt and the Freedom Arms SA will take different cylinders and you can feed it all kinds of fun ammo.:D :D

I don't know if you are aware of this, but the 460 will take the .45 Colt AND the .454 Casull as subloads (like shooting .44 Russian and .44 Special in a .44 Magnum).

I did read that on the S&W site.

Also that .460 round is insane:eek:, 200 grains at 2300 fps and they claim that you zero it at 200 yds and you center the target from 50-250 yards.... wow! from a hand gun.

I just wonder if you'd want to fire it a second time.;)

LOL, I guess that depends on how you feel after you get up off the ground. :D

Sadly my 29-2 is on its way to its new owner. I just picked up a Rossi 971 to play around with but it's not worth photographing.

Hey Jeepnut... Sweet blaster you have there!

Maybe you can help me with something... I have been trying to locate a light-saber with no luck. I hear they cut even better than INFI. Any ideas on where I can pick one up??? Maybe from your blaster supplier??? ;)

Is this your S&W ?

Yes that is mine. The cylinder was replaced by a gun smith because I had run so many big loads through it that they thought the heavy cylinder would "help", help what... I have no idea. I wasn't too happy about that,, guns are another thing that I don’t pretend to know much about… I just use them.

I really need to send this one back to S&W and have them rework the timing and maybe add some porting.

That's cool. I want a S&W and a satin MS

Man after my own heart.

When I saw that MOASK thread, thought the Freedom Arms sticker price looked a lot more reachable!

As soon aas my ASH1 ganza is complete, that style S&W is on my list!
I've been pining over one with an unfluted cylinder and 5" bbl for a while.

Is that a 4"?

Yea, that's a 4''. I have the 5'' unfluted 686 7 shot...a sweet gun! It was torture trying to decide between that and the 4''. I couldn't find a 5'' anywhere until I looked at the online Buds Gun shop and had it shipped to my FFL out here. I saved the tax and some coin on the gun by getting it there. A SWEET gun...people always comment on it at the range

I was just looking at the 460 at the store about an hour ago....DAMN!! I had never looked at one of those rounds before....it's.....formidible. I WANT ONE!!!

Yes that is a 4". I have not seen a 5", sounds like a good size. The 4" is s nice looking gun but maybe 5" may even be a better visual balance.
