A Sad Day For Me...

I lost my Gayle Bradley 2. I have no idea where it came out of my pocket, as I was out and about all day. Not doing a whole lot, just here and there, and in and out of the car a few times. I only went into two businesses, and didn't do any heavy lifting that would rub against my pocket. I've searched my car, the few places I went, my house, everywhere I could think of. I went back to the places I visited, searched stores and parking lots. I think it may be time to accept that it is gone for good. I'm just sick. I know my fellow knife lovers would feel my pain. I searched for a Like New/Brand New GB2 for a while, and finally found one, only to have this happen. Only had it in my pocket a week or so. Now I have to find a new one, and spend the money all over again [emoji30][emoji29]

I really, really liked that knife.

Did you look at your seatbelt? Sometimes knives get pulled off by the seatbelt.
I am sorry that you lost your knife.

yeah, well, I certainly hope so! Then at least I wouldn't be out of the money twice over. I really doubt it though. I think someone got a really good deal on a slightly used knife! [emoji37]

T.K.C. I appreciate it! I just had to vent my pain somewhere. Very heavy heart this evening.

Oh man, I hate to hear that! The gb2 does ride quite a bit higher than I like with the stock clip, tip up especially. Tip down isn't as bad, but I don't like tip down on larger blades. I threw a deep carry clip I had on my pm2 on it and it's much more secure now. Maybe grab one when/if you order a new one? Hopefully you find it before then!

Very sorry you lost your Spyderco. If you don't find yours in a day or two, let me know.
I have two NIB GB2's. I'll send you one.
Please pay it forward some day.
best regards from an old Kansas boy...

I hope it turns up... I have been carrying my knife with a clip at the bottom of my pocket with clip attached. Or if I'm not gonna be sitting a bunch iwb

Check b/t drivers seat and the console. (I'm doing my Johnny Carson with the letter on his forehead)

Don, what a good guy you are. We need more of that these days.
Hats off to ya 👍

Fantastic show of character!
I hope this one lasts you long enough to do some work for you.

Don, that's an awesome offer, I really appreciate it! I can't say thank you in enough ways. I'll give it a few days. I'm going to really search parking lots again this evening, and tear my car apart again. I just hope it turns up.

I've looked everywhere I can think of! Between the drivers seat is usually the culprit for me, and I did notice it rides higher tip up but I really didn't give it second thought because it seems like a fairly comfortable riding position in my pocket.

I honestly had not even had it long enough to decide wether or not I really liked it. I carry my Large 21 a lot of the time, and wanted to try out a GB2 just because I've had a few PM2's and I have always enjoyed the Spyderco knife line. I really didn't fully "get" how attached I had become to it, until it came up missing. That thing is easily top two or three on my favorite knives list, and it snuck its way in there rather quickly. I just love everything about it. It fits in my hand perfectly, the blade profile, the carbon fiber, and M4 really grew on me quickly.

Sorry for the rant and ramble. It's a tougher loss than expected. Don, once again, I thank you so much for the offer. You're a great guy for that. There truly are good people left in the world, and that is one of the main reasons I come here instead of anywhere else. I've already opened the safe and done a little digging around to see what I could find. [emoji4]

If you carry on your right pocket, put the seat all the way forward and look from the back seat (assuming you have a back seat) between the seat and console.

Good luck

i'll give that a try in the morning, when i have some sunlight. that's actually a pretty good idea. i looked between the seat and console with a flashlight but couldn't really see anything.

thanks!

Move that seat all over the place too! I had one fall down the crack and got under a piece of the carpet and the seat rails. It's gotta be there!!

they find the tiniest, smallest, hardest to reach places to hide. I've got my hands firmly clasped together hoping it's in there somewhere!
