A sad day

:(:(:( ...Man, that's terrible! :(... I feel your pain & your loss, and I've been where you are right now... Damn. Sorry, Jur. Smoke rising for you, and your beloved buddy. RIP, Hercules... :(:(

Yeah my Sugar just disappeared few months ago. Looked and checked everywhere.

Really stinks.

Blowing smoke rings early this am.

Thank you for all the best wishes. It's a hard time for me now. It is okay as long as I have some distraction, but the moment I think about him I feel really sad. He was my best friend. But I got only good memories of Hercules.

JurT: Sorry to hear of your loss brutha. :( I lost my favorite pup approx. a year ago and there is still a void there. Our animals are very special. Great pics. :)

I am sooooo very, very sorry for your loss!! It is tough to loose one's "fur babies". Hugs to you. I have included a poem that has always helped ME through this type of difficult time, I hope it helps you.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

JurT,
Sorry to hear of your loss. [Had two dogs, Daisy and Lady, growing up and my sister has had cats (Ali, Henry, Lucy, Tigger, Missy and Baby)since she went to school in the 70s. My folks have had cats (Zippy, Cocoa, Princess and, now, Rascal ) since Lady passed many years ago.] These animals become our close friends and losing them, as must happen sooner or later, is painful. The continuing demands of life push the sadness into the background but we don't forget the friends we've had. The memory of that friendship is always with you and the chance to experience that again with a new companion is there when you are ready. Pete

T.K.C that's a beautiful poem. It just brought tears to my eyes

I'm sorry about your cat. He looked like he was a good buddy. My mom's 15 year old cat went out one night a few months ago never to return. I guess it was too slow and old to outwit the coyotes anymore.
