A Season for Giving

Redbear- have absolute respect for you. It's not often that I see a man who's actions measure up to his words. Both your actions and words are full of generosity and belief in others- Blessings to you and yours and Merry Christmas.

Congrats to the winners and once again, that was very generous of you to get this going RedBear and Pauli!

Congratulations to the winners.

Thanks so much Bear for the contest.

E-mail sent to Jokre for mailing info.

Merry Christmas.

Thanks Bruce for the opportunity and thanks to everyone else here you guys are truly few and far between, really great people and there aren't many out there that give and share the way ya'll do
Thanks
Mike

These stories and this giveaway really emphasize what christmas is about. Thanks for the generosity bear and pauli and those that posted stories.

Great thread. I know it was hard for some of us to write some of what we did. Thanks to Bruce for the generous donation and to Pauli for the additional donation. Jeremy thanks for all you do by giving us this community to be a part of. Merry Christmas.

Redbear, your generosity is unheard of these days. I recently had to sell my Busse knife to buy my wife a decent Christmas present. She just finished her 35th radiation treatment for breast cancer that luckily was caught during a routine, yearly, mamogram. (I can't stress these enough!)
She felt bad that I did this and wanted me to see if maybe I could somehow, "get it back" I said that when it's gone it's gone and besides that My funds are too low.
Then I win your giveaway!!! I believe in Santa Claus!!!
I think there might be a satin/black micarta chopper type knife in my future!
Oh and maybe a forum name change for me somewhere down the road!
Jeremy, what can I say...you are the man! I love this place!

First I want to say congrats to all the winners, you certainly deserve them.

I really don't know what to say. I am seriously all choked up about this. I thought I would try and buy a couple cheap knifes that I need. This is far more than I could have ever imagined. When I first found these boards I ran into a thread where there were some pretty lame comments and was just going to leave with a not so good impression of the forum. I decided to look around it a bit more and ran in this Christmas give away by redbear and have been blessed since. So many real good people on here it was worth staying and reading the things you all were doing and now this. I really don’t know what to say about this but Thank You all. Got to log a minute the monitor is blurry.

Thank You all
Mic
Keep Looking Up

I'm not sure how I missed this thread earlier, but I just want to give a big thumbs up :thumbup::thumbup: to Bruce for his generosity and for coming up with a creative and practical way to point out the true spirit of Christmas. THANK YOU Bruce - it's a pleasure to know you, to have done deals with you, and to have you be part of this community!! Congrats to all the winners.
