They are own holsters so if I'd they loosen up a lot they will be fine once you buckle your belt. I think they use a pretty low grade of leather. it stretches and the holster loses its retention. I have a friend that makes holsters and he has repaired quite a few by taking the kydex off and making the other side in kydex and then re-attaching it to the leather.
I tried one when they first came out, but I found them too bulky. Not for me.
 
I bought my first knife at the Detroit Zoo Gift Shop! We were on a class trip. First Grade. Teacher saw me playing with it on the bus ride back to school and took it away. I got it back at the end of the day.

I need a handful of volunteer gear testers for a couple of projects we've got in the works. I've got a few in mind already but need several. Need folks that get out a lot and use their gear pretty hard.
 
So I'm drooling more and more over the Marlin 336y. Went on youtube and saw some videos and those just made me want one more. The 336BL with the 18.5" barrel and big loop lever seems to be pretty popular but I'm not crazy about the big loop plus the Youth model is shorter but has the same capacity of the BL. I would imagine the .30-30 doesn't give up much velocity between 20", 18.5", and 16.5".

Id would try and volunteer Trade, but i wont be getting back out in the bush until the beginning of March and dont want to hold anything up.

Same reason I didnt try and sign up for the pass around by James.

My wife has been watching the old episodes to get ready for the new season of Walking Dead.

As you know im not really a fan of the show. And im about tired of hearing growling and snarling in the background HAHA So i just told her i just read a spoiler and Daryl dies tonight. She IS not happy. LMAO

I have recently moved into a place that has a back yard! I've already been out twice and played, testing new gear would be awesome. Dependent of course on making the illustrious cut.

The funny thing about it, we have the mailbox completely encased in a railroad tie planter box. It does ZERO damage to the mailbox (it doesn't even get touched) however it DESTROYS cars that run into it. The bottom right-hand corner of this picture, you can see the mailbox embankment

LMAO, yea thats a good point. But i could just lean back in this zero gravity chair if i ever felt tired and id pass out.

She has other ways of punishing me though.
