Thanks Daizee. I've perused Filson, but I haven't seen that one yet. I was debating on a few others I've seen a round (Fossil & Buffalo Jackson), but this might shake things up a bit.

Hey guys! Is there a "Becker trailing point picture thread"? If not I think there should be one.

Does that mean I can't go? :(

You can go, you just can't drink alcohol. You'll have to bring snacks or soda pop or stacks of free money and knives to hand out instead.

...

Hey MM, congrats on winning the January cookout challenge! :)

Yes, stacks of money would be good.

And congrats on the win. Maybe I should have turned that feral pig I shot into sausage and used that (with graphic photos) in my entry....

I just posted the most expensive canvas messenger bag I could think of offhand. :D
They are actually very nice, but inexpensive they ain't.

Yes, not cheap. The others I'm debating on are almost half much. I do know with the Filson, I could utterly destroy it and get a new one 20 years down the road. Its a little above my range right now so I would have to save up a little while longer, but a lot less than the saddleback models I'm drooling over... Or at least that's how I'm trying to justify it.

Tfields, sorry to hear about your mom. I can't even imagine how bad I would hurt.

Trade, that little bag looks nice. I'm a fan of that style so *thumbs up*

Daizee, where's the bottle opener?! It needs a bottle opener!

congrats MM! you deserved to win, your entry was great. Same with GSO.

I'm just speechless that uncle E handed out consolation prizes, i'm very very grateful. I think the bk5 will be my new favorite knife i own :)

I cant wait for my blades to get back from HT too :D

How long does it normally take? Or does it just depend on the size of the stuff and how much you send?

Got home from work at about 11 this morning. Sitting there talking to papa we decided we wanted soup and sammich for lunch. I had enough of the left over chicken stuffing from last night's enchiladas that I made it into chicken salad sammiches. Then I made a potato and corn chowder from scratch for the soup.

So this is absurd.
After begging my local package store to get this stout which wasn't to be found in the state, I picked up 4 six packs on my way out of NYC on Friday. On the way home from work I checked in, and sure enough they finally got it. Naturally I had to buy a pack because I asked, and to say thank you. Now I have 5 6-packs of beer. All in cans. i.e. no bottles... that need opening... or birudashi. d'oh!
