A Shot from the Snark-ebus

So I've been going around town hitting the gun shops a lot lately. Usually find H&R and NEF shotguns at reasonable prices but for some reason the few rifles I've seen have been marked at $250 or more which is too much for a used Handi if you ask me. Went on budsgunshop.com and they have them brand new for ~$260-270 so I think I'm gonna print off some listings and see if I can't twist some arms to get them on the cheap.
 
Looks like the weather in Sochi is hitting the 50s and even 60s! Yikes, I wonder what the heck you do for the winter olympics when you don't have any snow??

It's pretty crazy. We have a friend that's competing in ice climbing (demonstration sport) and it's hard for them to get psyched when they're competing in such warm conditions.
 
I got a 94% on my first test its 10% of my grade so I am happy with that!

Got home from work at about 11 this morning. Sitting there talking to papa we decided we wanted soup and sammich for lunch. I had enough of the left over chicken stuffing from last night's enchiladas that I made it into chicken salad sammiches. Then I made a potato and corn chowder from scratch for the soup.

It really was. It was a tad under-salted, that is just cause I wasn't sure if the bacon and cheese would be salty enough or not. But I also figured that it would be easier to salt the individual servings than the whole pot.

Way easier to add salt than to remove it. Dish looks delicious!
