a simple test on JERRY HOSSOM's knife

I have never understood why people complain about how somebody else treats their own knives....

In this case it helps make evident what is possible when maker, steel, and heat treat come together in a superior product.

Now you know, and it didn't cost you anything!

Andy

It's like watching someone do a six point slam parallel park job in a Ferrari between two concrete posts. Sure it's their car but what a waste.

Unlike the Ferrari the knife appears to have held up to this imbecility quite well. Hopefully there will not be a new line of Hossom knockoffs this spring.

right , man.
you have said here is what i wanta say ,cool.

Wow! Gotta agree with Andrew Colglazier on this one.
This a private property thing. The guy bought the knife, it's now HIS property to do with as he pleases as long as he's not breaking any laws. He can encase it in concrete or use it as a Copper or steel tube cutter if he so desires. His property, his choice.
No one else can rightfully say otherwise.

Now we all know for sure what a Hossom knife will do, free of charge. How cool is that?

I want to see more pictures of the knife. From what I can tell it is one of the finest examples of the knifemakers art I have ever seen.

No one else can tell him what to do with his property.

Anyone else can rightfully point out that what he's done is a stupid thing to do.
