I forged this with 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
The handle is a mystery wood that I gathered from an old pallet. It is very hard but I had it professionally stabilized anyway. My guess it is oak and I wish I had a bunch of it.
Overall length: 9 inches
Blade: 4 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

Oops, I see that I missed some buffing compound on the spine in this photo. It's gone now.
