I have had my large model 4 for a few years and it was getting very loose from some extreme use. I emailed Kit a few weeks ago and he told me to send it to him and he would fix it. I got it back just last week (quick turnaround from such a busy guy!) and it looks brand new. I hate to use it now ;) Anyway, I want to thank Kit for the quick turn around. I have several of his knives and I am sure I will be buying many more. Thanks!

Gotta agree wholeheartedly! Kit is as good as the come! His knives are among the best and his service is always quick and more than reasonable. The best part is that I also have come to call him friend!

Michael watch out if you set it next to a new one you won't be able to tell the difference. Kinda like the battery ad. They just don't quit going.
 
Gotta' admit that this is THE worst case of a$$ kissing I've ever witnessed! Kit, how do you stand this stuff?
 
I also just got my large M4 back from Kit.

He really went to town on it, we put redwood burl handles on it and, totally without asking me beforehand he:

jeweled the liners
hand sanded the blade and bolsters
put red liners under the handle slabs
and adjusted the action so its silky smooth!

Man that guy really pisses me off:D

Some nerve, huh?

Kit really takes care of his customers. My Model 4 has been back to him twice to undergo a complete facelift - new blade steel/shape, ceramic peen, and scale swap. It practically is a different knife than when I originally bought it several years ago. He was very patient with me throughout the whole processes :)
