He didn't show his face here much, but most of you have seen his work. He was shy of publicity. He was an old friend of mine from the knife shows, especially the Oregon Knife Collectors show every April.
He was part of a somewhat raucous contingent from Texas
,
none of who showed up at this past show!!
He was the quietest of the bunch, and indeed a very private guy.)
Mark had the most beautiful Peachseed Schrade collection, and he was an accomplished photographer, so could show them to great effect! His pictures made up the Calendar I (we) did a few years back.
He passed on a week ago, too soon, much to the sadness of many collectors and dealers around the continent, and to me. He was a valued friend, to me and to us all!
