A TALE of RECOVERY!!

A nice shot of the wayward knife Charlie. I have several "yet to be found knives" stashed around the place. It will drive you, and everybody around you, crazy as you dismantle everything within a 2 miles radius looking for them. And still end up wondering where you put it.

Glad you found it Charlie  I'da been very upset over misplacing that knife (never happen though).
You should cook your wife a delicious dinner & serve dessert, too,if ya knowwhaddImean ;),to thank her.

Forgetful old pruner. :p

Next time you come East I'll carry your luggage for you.:cool:

Uhh.....Tony wouldn't happen to be working on a replacement, would he ? :D

Nah! Tony's not in the habit of patching other people's boo boos!
If you can't hang onto one of his knives, that's your problem! And I agree (he blithely says after his wife patched his boo boo!)!:D

Cool photoshopping, FLymon! Wish I could do that!

2 mile radius is about right, Greg!!:rolleyes:

Great story wonderful ending......Xmas came 353 days early!! :)

Congrats Charlie, that must be SOME relief! Funny how it's never the cheapo $5 knife that gets lost, isn't it? Broken maybe, but not lost :D:D

Good story, great find, really nice knife...
But a lousy place to hide it from would-be thieves. It's one of the first places they'll look when ransacking the bedroom.
Better in a pair of dirty underwear in the laundry if you're looking for a place a perp might overlook or avoid.
And thanks for the knife photos, but I think a few of us were hoping for a wife in a towel.
Congrats on both, you're a lucky man.

I need to get my wife reading this forum. Her knife selection and delivery methods could both benefit from reading this thread!

Put my WT in my dirty underwear?????

Well, you have a point . . . .I guess:cool:. . . . . . . .:D

Man, I would have been more than a little pi##ed at myself for losing that knife!!!:D That is a great ending to the story though...you must be treating your wife like a queen right now!!;)

Losing a knife like that would be such a devastating blow. I get all angsted up if I misplace a $50 knife let alone something like that. That is great news, and a great reunion.

Great line from a movie: "Of all the things I've lost in life, I think I miss my mind the most."

Sometimes you can even find that after awhile-- thank God!

My family has gotten used to the "code red knife alerts" when I misplace a knife.

Mine too. Dagnab sofa & recliner have et more knives than I can recall.

Great story. I sympathize with the interim heartache, and I rejoice at the happy end.

Yahoooo ! Good on you Charlie ! OK here's what you do. Make reservations at the finest restaurant, buy the finest bottle of wine, after dinner and fine wine, take her dancing, and end the night with a night cap made with the finest liquor, then all will be right with the world. Oh, one last thing, you might think about taking your little Misses along with the two of you, after all, she's the one that found it :D

UHH just curious have you checked all your socks? You never know what your going to find:)

For anyone taking the above advice, I sure hope that if you ever post the knife in the "for sale" forums, you mention where it's been. :barf:

:D

Way to go, Charlie! If I had misplaced something like that I would have taken the house apart board by board!
