What's the handle material? Is the handle "spine" (not sure of the right term) integral with the tang?

The wood is "Stabilized by Nicholas" double dyed stabilized maple burl. It is actually quite colorful under strong light. His number is 614-266-6634.

Yes, it is full integral.
