HA! You kids with your NEWFANGLED Glocks with RAILS....

When I started shooting... there WAS no rails. We didn't need rails! We held 3D flashlights in our TEETH!

HA... rails... you kids are crazy nowdays. :p

PS... Don't make fun of my interestingly placed skateboard tape... :o

I just traded off a G23. Also got rid of my G17 last spring. I'm currently Glock-less, but that will be changing soon. I just need to make up my mind between a G26 and G27.

Go with the 27 and get a 9mm bbl from storm lake for a bit over $100 bucks. It will perform flawlessly with 9mm mags and you have 2 pistols in one!

Double the fun!

None of the 27's came with rails, did they? I've never seen one myself.

Now that I think of it your right. I've never seen a 26 or 27 with rail.

Oh well, mine's so old it wouldn't have one anyway:p Had an old 17, and 23, but like the 27 so much I sold both.
Man I need to get at least one with a rail! None of my Sigs have them either, but I like them smooth.

I sold my early HK USP, but want another. Thats a gun that just looks right with a rail....and I need a reason to buy a new gun, and light anyway:D

I do not like the way they point but, then again, the 19 I had was extremely easy to shoot extremely well. Perhaps the non-instinctive grip angle, for me, makes me concentrate just enough longer to be extremely precise.

Here is my EDC G22, a 1992 era Glock. No rails, no finger grooves. The lazer is as old as the Glock (and is still zeroed at 30 feet). I bought the holster in '95 from LAW Concealment. I carry the holster in the small of my back and have driven 1000 miles without a complaint. The holster comes as a plain pocket. The leather has molded to the shape of my Glock.

Very nice, I like that Warden Variant a lot.:thumbup:

Do they count as plain if they have lights attached? What about if they're green-framed? How about of they're a 21SF in .45 ACP?

After casually searching for a 2nd gen G20 (1st gen for 10mm models) over the past few years, I finally hunkered down and started REALLY looking for a non-finger groove/non-railed G20 this year (it's a sign...2010 = G20 in 10mm). Found a NIB G20 on GB and placed the highest bid a couple days ago. I'll post pics with my 9mm versions when it get's in!!! I'm looking forward to shooting this one. Here's a pic from the GB auction...

Thanks for the motivation guys!!!

Speaking of "Plain Jane" Glocks, I miss the original tupperware-like cases. They were small, and stacked quite nicely. There were two sizes. The larger size was slightly longer, to accommodate the models with the longer slide (G17L, G24, G34, and G35). The current foam-lined case takes up about two to three times more room in my safe than the original ones.
