Thanks, coyote & SAK Guy! Yeah, my minor modification in lanyard placement works like a charm as a belt hanger.
I have a lot of baseball glove leather left yet. I want to use some of it for one or more strops, and use some to try to make my very own pocket slips "from scratch". It's looking like that may not happen until summer, though.

I don't have any action shots, but my Pioneer gets used a lot at work . It's getting well worn.

This is the kind of lanyard I would like to tie. Do the little beads at the ends keep the cord from unraveling? What's the cord, shoelace?

Its un-gutted 550 cord with melted ends and a simple overhand knot if I'm not mistaken.
