I am a trim carpenter. That baby is chamfered.
I agree that "Flat Bolsters" means just that - flat bolsters.
But when you put a chamfer on the bolsters, and carry it around the knife, that is a whole other ball game.
I'll go with Fes as well, and vote for tombed or gravestone.
"Hey, I just placed an order for a tombed gunstock" sounds good
