Clay- my youngest just got the mail and I told her that envelop was for her. She is super excited, had a tough week and this is a great way to start the weekend. She said, “It’s so much nicer than yours because isn’t all rusty!” I guess he isn’t a fan of patina :)

thanks for the great GAW

Lol she is obviously a stainless gal! Thank you for entering her! I am so pleased she has a nicer knife then her pops!

This is one happy kid! Thanks C CHNeal for your generosity. He is loving his first traditional. It hasn’t left his hand all morning. I had fun showing him how to date the knife - 1993. He now wants to find one from 2012, his birth year. I’ll say it again, you’ve blessed a father when you bless his son. Thanks again Clay!

To all those of you porch dwellers that checked in with all the kind words, I appreciate it. Thank you, but The truth is I’m not doing anything I haven’t watched play out here 100 times over the years. This place is special and I’m honored to be a small part of it so to you all I say Thank You.

Clay

This is very late in comeing and for that I apologize. I did receive the Buck 303 months ago and I meant to post a thank you and it totally slipped my mind. It turned out the young fella I had in mind (My niece's son) is still a few years too young to carry a knife in his mother's opinion. Witch of course I totally understand and respect. So I just tucked the Buck away until his mother is convinced he's responsible enough to handle it. Unfortunately it seems I tucked the memory of winning your GAW along with it. I guess late is better then never so Thank You very much for your generous GAW Clay and even though it's going to be a few years in the future the 303 will be going to a new generation as there very first knife.

I am so very pleased that the 303 will be waiting and ready when the young man is! I thank you very much for checking in and also for helping me get these knives into the hands that will carry them into the future.
Clay
